AlterEgo Logistics provides package receiving, freight forwarding, shipping coordination, and delivery services for customers ordering goods locally and internationally.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, website, or mobile application, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate name, contact details, and shipping information

• Use the correct customer account number when ordering packages

• Pay all shipping, customs, processing, and delivery fees

• Ensure packages comply with Jamaican import regulations

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or government charges.

4. Prohibited Items

AlterEgo Logistics does not accept or ship prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to:

• Illegal drugs or narcotics

• Firearms, weapons, or ammunition

• Explosives or hazardous materials

• Perishable goods

• Counterfeit products

• Live animals

• Certain plant materials or seeds restricted by Jamaican customs

• Any item prohibited by Jamaican law

If prohibited items are discovered, the shipment may be refused, confiscated, or reported to authorities.

5. Package Inspection

AlterEgo Logistics reserves the right to inspect, open, or verify packages if required for:

• Security purposes

• Customs clearance

• Verification of shipment contents

6. Shipping Fees & Payments

All shipments are subject to applicable charges including:

• Freight charges

• Processing fees

• Customs duties and taxes

• Delivery fees (if applicable)

Payments may be made through:

• Credit card

• Debit card

• Online payment via WiPay

• Point-of-Sale machine payments

Packages may not be released until all fees are paid in full.

7. Delivery & Pickup

Customers will be notified when their packages arrive.

Packages may be:

• Picked up at our location, or

• Delivered where delivery services are available.

Customers must present valid identification when collecting packages.

8. Package Storage

Customers are expected to collect packages within a reasonable time.

AlterEgo Logistics reserves the right to charge storage fees for packages not collected within 14 days of arrival.

Unclaimed packages after an extended period may be disposed of or auctioned to recover storage costs.

9. Lost or Damaged Packages

While AlterEgo Logistics takes reasonable care in handling shipments:

• We are not responsible for damage caused during international transit by airlines or carriers.

• Claims for missing packages must be reported within 7 days of notification of arrival.

Compensation, if applicable, will be based on the declared value and supporting invoice.

10. Delays

AlterEgo Logistics is not liable for delays caused by:

• Weather conditions

• Airline delays

• Customs inspections

• Government regulations

• Circumstances outside our control

11. Limitation of Liability

AlterEgo Logistics’ liability for any claim related to shipment loss or damage will not exceed the declared value of the package.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses including lost profits or business interruption.

AlterEgo Logistics reserves the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts for:

• Fraudulent activity

• Abuse of services

• Shipping prohibited goods

• Non-payment of fees

13. Privacy

• Shipping and delivery purposes

• Account management

AlterEgo Logistics does not sell or share customer data with third parties except when required for shipping, customs clearance, or legal compliance.
